6 hour Defensive Driving Class (PIRP)

• Hold a valid New York State drivers license.
  
• Bring an original and a photo copy of your NY STATE driver’s license.
  
• You must be the principal operator of the vehicle you are intending to   receive the auto insurance reduction.
  
• You may receive a subtraction of up to four (4) points on your driver’s   license.
  
• You will receive a ten (10) percent discount off your auto insurance.
  
• You can take the PIRP class only once in every three (3) years for   insurance reduction and every eighteen (18) months for license point   reduction.
  
• Point reduction does not affect mandating actions such as   license revocation or suspensions.
  

A certificate of proof will be issued to you upon completion of the 6 hour class, which you will provide a copy to your Auto Insurance Agent and/or Company to receive your discount. USA Training Company will automatically send DMV a copy of your completion of the class and your points will be deducted from the DMV computer.
